Joseph A. Baguidy, a humanitarian who believes that the well-being of the people should be a top priority.
He was born in 1962 and raised in Anse d’Hainault Haiti. His mother was Sylvia Joseph and his Father was Nelor Baguidy.
During the early years of his education in Haiti, he completed his primary studies from 1967 to 1975, his secondary studies from 1975 to 1981, and his professional studies from 1980 to 1984 at Christ de King Professional School.
Then he worked at RTNH = Radio Television National Haiti as a TV technician. He moved to the United States in 1986 and has been working tirelessly in the Haitian community in an effort to improve their quality of life. He is the owner and founder of the Haitian Compas festival and Haitian flag day in Ft Lauderdale. As an entrepreneur, he started several successful businesses including restaurants, retail stores, nightclubs, and a healthcare facility. His passion for music has led him to become a producer and a promoter. Mr. Baguidy worked with several Haitian bands over the years and created the celebration of the Haitian Flag Day Festival that draws a crowd between 15,000 to 17,000 people in South Florida.
Mr. Baguidy’s stouthearted nature allows him to see the good in everyone. He desires to help those in need of a leg-up in our Haitian community and abroad.
As a Ayisyen Konsene, he is an efficient administrator who puts all of his efforts into his organization. Mr. Baguidy understands the problem of Haiti and also has a clear vision on how to turn it around to find a solution for the corrupt problems that have been hindered the growth of Haiti for decades. For those reasons, Mr. Baguidy is calling on all Ayisyen Konsene for help in re-establish our Beautiful Haiti.
